PDEA appoints new regional director

PHILIPPINE Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Director-General Arturo Cacdac has appointed a new PDEA director in Zamboanga Peninsula region.

Joseph Latip has been appointed as the new regional director of PDEA-Zamboanga Peninsula, replacing Jeffrey Bangsa.

Latip assumed office Monday following a simple turnover ceremony held at the PDEA regional office in Zamboanga City. He came from the PDEA Academy in Silang, Cavite.


PDEA Deputy Director for Administrator Rene Orbe led the turnover ceremony.

Bangsa was reassigned as the new regional director of PDEA-Central Visayas.

He was assigned as the PDEA-Zamboanga Peninsula director in September 11, 2013. (Bong Garcia)
