A TOP official of the local Bureau of Customs (BOC) office announced that they have surpassed their revenue’s target collection goal by almost P1 million for July this year.

BOC district collector lawyer Enrico Turingan Jr. said they have collected P5,921,355 in July, which was higher by 944,155 than the month’s target collection goal of P4,977,200.

Turingan said the biggest revenue contributor in July was the Mega Group of Companies that manufactures one of the Philippines’ top sardines’ brands -- Mega Sardines.

Turingan said they have already collected revenues amounting to P34,474,134 since January 2014.

This year’s target revenue collection of the BOC-Zamboanga District Office is P57,851,000, said Turingan.
