Pagadian police receive 2 awards

THE Zamboanga del Sur Police Office (ZDSPO) has given two awards to the Pagadian City police command in recognition for the excellent accomplishments in law enforcement for the month of June, this year.

ZDSPO director Senior Superintendent Sofronio Ecaldre said Pagadian City police chief Superintendent Glenn Dulawan received the two certificates of recognition during the monthly assessment and awarding ceremony held Friday at Camp Abelon that houses the ZDSPO.

Ecaldre said one of the two certificates is in recognition to the Pagadian City police for the highest accomplishment in the campaign against loose firearms.


Ecaldre added the second certificate is in recognition for topping in the arrest and confiscation in the campaign against prohibited drugs.

Ecaldre said they have come up with the monthly assessment and awarding to motivate all the city and municipal police stations under his command to excellently perform their tasks.

The Ecaldre-led ZDSPO covers one city and 26 municipalities, which comprise of the province of Zamboanga del Sur.

Dulawan has expressed his gratitude to Ecaldre for recognizing the efforts and accomplishments of his command.

Dulawan also thanked his officers and men for their utmost support given him as the local police chief.

Ecaldre said the other police stations that were given recognition were that of the municipalities of Aurora, Dumalinao and San Pablo.
