Appliance store supervisor shot

A SUPERVISOR of an appliance firm survived although wounded in a gun attack in the province of Zamboanga Sibugay, the police reported Sunday.

Police Regional Office-9 (PRO-9) information Officer-in-Charge Inspector Dahlan Samuddin identified the victim as Rommel Moscoso, a resident of Don Andres village, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.

Moscoso, 35, is the supervisor of Emcor appliance center in the municipality of Kabasalan in the same province.


Samuddin said Moscoso was driving his motorcycle from Kabaslan to Ipil when shot by a lone gunman around 1:24 a.m. Saturday along the national highway in the village of Tenan, Ipil.

Moscoso although wounded managed to continue driving and headed to the hospital to seek medical treatment, Samuddin said.

Investigation continues in a bid to establish the motive of the incident as well as to unmask the identity of the gunman, he added. (Bong Garcia)
