AN 18-YEAR-OLD, who was abducted in Misamis Occidental, was rescued by policemen in the village of Ayala, 16.50 kilometers west of Zamboanga City.

Zamboanga City police Officer-in-Charge Angelito Casimiro identified the abducted girl as Lyka Noblefranca, 18, a resident of Lower Langcangan village, Oroquieta City, the capital of Misamis Occidental.

Senior Superintendent Casimiro said Noblefranca was rescued around 3:42 p.m. Wednesday at Sitio Dumagsain, Barangay Ayala.
