Bizman survives gun attack in Sinunuc village

A BUSINESSMAN survived despite suffering multiple gunshot wounds in a gun attack staged by motorcycle-riding gunmen in Sinunuc village, Zamboanga City, the police reported Friday.

The police identified the victim as Abdul Jaman, 46, a resident of Purok 9, Sinunuc village.

The police said that Jaman, who is into currency exchange business, was shot around 8:30 p.m. at Purok 4, Sinunuc.


Investigation showed that the victim was aboard a passenger jeepney bound for city proper when repeatedly shot by one of two men riding tandem in a motorcycle that got abreast the vehicle.

The police said the victim sustained seven gunshot wounds and was admitted at the Zamboanga Brent Hospital for treatment.

Investigation continues to unmask the suspects’ identities as the motive was known to be “love triangle,” the police said. (Bong Garcia)
