FOUR people, including two women, were injured in a head-on collision of two motorcycles along the provincial road in Zamboanga del Norte, the police reported Friday.

The Zamboanga del Norte Police Office said the accident happened around 9:15 a.m. Thursday in the village of Poblacion in the municipality of Jose Dalman.

The police identified the victims as Reynaldo Abot, 29; Jovelyn Ganon, 20; Renalyn Ganon, 22; and Jeno Cagbas, 20.

Investigation showed that the two motorcycles, one driven by Abot while the other by Cagbas, were traveling from opposite directions when they collided head-on on a curve portion of the provincial road.

The Ganon sisters were back riders of Abot.

They suffered injuries and were admitted at the hospital for treatment, the police said. (Bong Garcia)
