DPWH lines up P254-M infra projects-A A +A

THE Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has lined up 21 infrastructure projects worth P254 million to be implemented this year in Zamboanga City.
DPWH District Engineer Cholie Roble said they have so far completed the implementation of three of 21 infrastructure projects.
Roble said the completed projects are worth P9.23 million.
The three completed projects are the following: Zamboanga-Labuan-Limpapa road asphalt overlay, P3.24 million; and upgrading of the damaged paved national road in the village of Malagutay worth P1.53 million, Phase 1; and, P4.45 million, Phase 2.
Roble said the other lined-up projects include the widening of the Zamboanga City-Labuan to Limpapa road between the villages of Ayala and Talisayan, asphalt overlay of the other sections of the Zamboanga-Labuan highway, and the construction of the bridge in the village of Maasin all located west of this city.
She said all of the projects, which include roads, bridges and school buildings, they have lined up are targeted to be completed before the end of this year. (Bong Garcia)
