TWO people, including an Indian national, were wounded on two separate gun attacks in Zamboanga City, the police reported Friday.
The police identified the victims as Sukhjinder Singh, 28, and Haidil Saddaramil, 59, a resident of Putik and Upper Calarian villages, respectively.
The police said that Singh was shot and wounded by one of two men riding tandem on a motorcycle around 8:25 p.m. Thursday in front of his residence in the village of Putik, east of this city.
Investigation showed that Singh was driving his motorcycle and had just arrived coming from the residence of his cousin, Raj Singh, in the nearby village of Guiwan when shot by the suspects who tailed him.
The police said Singh, who is into lending business, was hit twice and was admitted at the hospital for treatment.
Saddaramil, meanwhile, was shot and wounded by one of two men riding tandem on a motorcycle around 6 p.m. Thursday in the village of Upper Calarian, west of this city.
Saddaramil was driving his motorcycle on the way home when shot by the riding in tandem suspects who tailed him, the police said.
Investigation continues in a bid to establish the motive of the two incidents as well as to unmask the suspects, the police said. (Bong Garcia)
