TWO people wanted for kidnapping charges were separately arrested by the police forces in the Zamboanga Peninsula, a police official said Friday.

Police Regional Office spokesman Senior Inspector Joseph Ortega identified the arrested suspects as Tingaraan Pamosogan, of Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur, and Jamal Gonzales, of Pandami, Sulu.

Ortega said Pamosogan was arrested Thursday by joint police forces from Zamboanga del Sur and Police Regional Office-Northern Mindanao (PRO-10) in Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur.

Ortega said that Pamosogan is facing charges for kidnapping for ransom before a court in the municipality of Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte.

Ortega said a corresponding warrant of arrest with no bail recommended was issued by the court for Pamosogan’s arrest.

He said Gonzales was arrested Wednesday evening at the Port of Zamboanga by policemen.

He said Gonzales was arrested in the strength of warrant of arrest with no bail recommended after he was spotted while about to board a ferry from this city to Sulu.

He said that Gonzales is facing charges for kidnapping and serious illegal detention before a Court in Pasig City.
