THE police have arrested three suspected drug pushers in a buy-bust operation in an east coast village in Zamboanga City, a top police official said Saturday.

Zamboanga City police director Angelito Casimiro identified the arrested alleged drug pushers as Jhon Benjamin Beseril, 28; Raymond Paragas, 22; and, Joseph Paragas, 27.

Casimiro said the suspects were arrested around 9:30 p.m. Friday in a buy-bust operation at Apolinario Loop, in the village of Guiwan.

Casimiro said the suspects were arrested after they sold a suspected shabu (crystal meth) to an undercover policeman.

Casimiro said the arresting team of policemen has confiscated from the suspects’ possessions another three sachets of suspected shabu, prohibited drug paraphernalia, and P200 as marked money.

The suspects were detained. They will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
