A SUSPECTED drug user was shot and killed while on a pot session in a west coast village of Zamboanga City, the police reported Monday.

Police Station 9 chief Edilberto Alvarez said the incident happened around 6:30 a.m. Sunday at Sitio Lebak, Purok 6 in Barangay Recodo, 15 kilometers west of the city.

Alvarez identified the victim as Anwar Musa, 35, a resident of Recodo and a native of Sirawai, Zamboanga del Norte.

He said Musa was allegedly shot dead by Alvin Sahi and two other companions identified as Anwar Himing and a certain Hamid.
