Garcia identified the victim as Ricky Baredo, 51, a resident of Manicahan village, 20.10 kilometers east of the city.

Investigation showed that the victim was driving his motorcycle en route to the village of Vitali when a water buffalo abruptly darted across the road and bumped the victim, Garcia said.
