SOCIAL Security System (SSS)-Zamboanga City Branch Head Elizabeth Cabatingan announced that her office is scheduled to launch the agency’s E-Alknasiya program in this city.

Cabatingan on Friday said the program, which is aimed to provide benefits to job order employees of government, is set to be launched within this month.

Cabatingan said they have initially identified 250 job order employees of the local government and of the Western Mindanao State University (WMSU).

She said that 150 of the total 250 beneficiaries are from the City Government and the remaining 100 are from WMSU.

The monthly premium will be deducted from the salary of the employees, which will be remitted to the SSS once a month in a form of check by their respective human resource department, Cabatingan said.

She said they have prioritized the job order employees since they are not covered neither by the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) or the SSS. (Bong Garcia)
