TWO suspected drug pushers were arrested on separate anti-drug operations west of Zamboanga City, the police reported Tuesday.

Arrested were Eging Hamsahaji, 41, of Lower Calarian and Eric Alejandro, 36, of San Roque, police officials said.

Police Station 11 chief Diomarie Albarico said Hamsahaji was arrested around 1:30 p.m. Monday in a buy-bust operation at Love Drive in the village of Lower Calarian.

Albarico said the Anti-illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Force (AIDSOTF) operatives have seized two sachets of suspect shabu from Hamsahaji’s possession and two pieces “marked” P100 bills.

Alejandro was arrested also around 1:30 p.m. Monday at Hipolito Driver in the village of San Roque, Police Station 7 chief Concordio Apolonio Jr. said

Apolonio said confiscated from Alejandro’s possession were a sachet of suspected shabu, two pieces of “marked” P100 bills and a motorcycle.

Both suspects were detained while appropriate charges are being readied to be filed against them. (Bong Garcia)
