THREE gunmen held up and robbed three public school teachers in the province of Zamboanga del Norte, the police reported Saturday.

The Zamboanga del Norte Police Office said the incident took place around 3:23 p.m. Friday in Barangay Candelaria, Liloy municipality.

The police identified the victims as Abdulnilda Ahil, 35; June Estrada, 25; and, Luzbella Salapa, 47.

Taken from Ahil was one silver necklace, black sling bag containing one unit mobile phone and Samsung Tablet 3.

Estrada lost one gray shoulder bag containing two mobile phones, assorted identification cards, ATM and E-cards, and wallet with P2,000 cash.

Salapa was divested of a mobile phone and a motorcycle.

Investigation showed that the victims were inside Salapa's classroom when three unidentified persons arrived and asked the teachers who owns the motorcycle parked in front of the room.

Two of the men then pulled out handguns and divested the teachers of cash and valuables at gun point, the police said.

The armed men fled aboard Salapa's motorcycle, the police added.
