A FAMILY of three were wounded in a gun attack in a remote village of Zamboanga del Sur, the police reported Saturday.

The Zamboanga del Sur Police Office (ZDSPO) reported that the incident took place around 9 p.m. Thursday at Purok 6 in the village of Lourmah, Mahayag town.

The police identified the victims as Marcelito Inanod, 41, his wife, Rolinda, 38, and son, Jaypee, 22.

Investigation showed the victims were talking in front of their house when two unidentified armed men wearing a mask onboard a black motorcycle stopped and repeatedly shot them, the police said.

The suspects immediately fled towards west direction right after the incident, the police said.
