The survey results will enable the NCC to evaluate the experience of businessmen in the renewal process of their mayor’s permit and to recommend appropriate measures, if needed, for concerned local government units (LGUs) to improve their services, particularly in the issuance of business permits and licenses.

DTI Regional Officer-in-Charge Sitti Amina Jain on Thursday also made a personal appeal for the full cooperation of business owners in the region to participate in the annual survey of the NCC.

“We want your feedback so we would know whether the BPLs streamlining initiatives we have undertaken jointly with the LGUs and the DILG in the region have indeed, resulted to a better, faster, more efficient, and more transparent services, especially those LGUs that have already undertaken the BPLS reforms,” Jain explained.

She said business owners and respondents need only at most is five minutes to log on at www.competitive.org.ph, fill up the survey form and upload their reply.

The survey runs from January until February 14, this year, she said. (Bong Garcia)
