Toyota opens Tacloban branch service center-A A +A

TODAY is the formal opening of what could be the biggest car dealership company to operate not only in Tacloban City but the entire Eastern Visayas region.
The Toyota Service Center-Tacloban branch is to open its doors today, April 11, for its already loyal clients, as well as those to who want to be associated with one of the world’s leading car brands.
The Toyota Service Center-Tacloban branch is located along Barangay 71, Maharlika Highway, Naga-Naga, Tacloban City, with an area of 8,000 square meters.
Its offices and service areas were constructed and finished within six months time.
Jimjim Yaokasin, who serves as president of the Toyota Service Center Tacloban branch, said they are simply happy to operate in Tacloban and the rest of Eastern Visayas.
According to Yaokasin, the Toyota clients are sure to be guaranteed of better service and an array of type of Toyota-made cars.
“With Toyota Service Center, every service has an inherent warranty. We will provide full service vehicle. If a vehicle needs a repair, it will be repair and it will be free of charge afterwards,” said Yaokasin, whose family is the franchisee of the said company in the region.
The beauty of having a Toyota Service Center in Tacloban is that those who want to own a car of said brand need no longer go to Metro Manila or Cebu, or have their vehicles repair in shops whose quality of work could not live up to the satisfaction of car owners.
He said that at any given time, the Toyota Service Center Tacloban branch has 50 types of car clients can choose from. And if the client wants a car not available at their branch, they can immediately make an order to satisfy the need of the client, Yaokasin said.
Yaokasin also said the Toyota Service Center-Tacloban branch is also equipped with modern tools and equipments that ensure quality service to its clients.
“We are complete with tools and equipment to diagnose exactly what’s wrong with the car,” he said.
He said 20 top-notch technicians are ready to serve the clients. And at present, the Toyota Service Center Tacloban branch has about 50 working force and is to increase with an expected growth of its clients.
Yaokasin, who once served as the city administrator of the Tacloban City Government, said the opening of the Toyota Service Center in Tacloban and in the region, is an indication that the city has “arrived.”
He said an indication that a city is within the radar of high-profile business companies include the operation of shopping malls and high end brand of food chains.
And needless to say, the coming of Toyota in the city is nothing but a strong barometer that indeed Tacloban is among the fast emerging cities of the country whose economy is in the upswing.
“Tacloban is fast becoming motorized. Having a car is no longer a luxury unlike before but is now a necessity,” Yaokasin said.
He said putting up a branch in Tacloban indicates their strong testament to the city’s growing economy.
“We are now in the consumers’ map. In other words, we have already arrive as a city,” Yaokasin said.
