CEBUANA Cianyl Jamae Gonzalez of Parklane Tri-Team and Bohol’s Paul Jumamil of Alaska Tri-Aspire professional team dominated the women’s and men’s standard distance of Tri Team Championship Series 2015 yesterday in Santa Fe, Bantayan Island, Cebu.

Gonzalez shone in the women’s standard distance after completing first the 1.5-kilometer swim segment, 40K bike and 10K run. Louie Villacin placed second, while May Salimbangon nabbed third place.

North Cotabato clinched three golds, three silvers and four bronzes to place second while Davao del Sur cornered three golds, two silvers and four bronzes. Panabo City (3-1-0) and Tagum City (2-3-3) finished fourth and fifth, respectively.

UNDEFEATED Cebuano Jimmy Yabo makes his ONE Championship debut when he takes on fellow Filipino fighter Edward Kelly in one of the undercard bouts of ONE Championship - “Valor of Champions” on April 24 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila.

Yabo is one of the best fighters from Sel-Def, an MMA gym based in Lapu-Lapu City. He is a teammate of Cebuano star Cary Bullos, who is also in the current roster of the ONE Championship.
