CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The traditional Oca-EdSa Cycling Caravan held Saturday officially started the month-long “Pyestang Fernandino 2013” celebrations in this city.

More than 2,000 bikers from some 40 cycling groups across Pampanga, including volunteers and enthusiasts, pedaled their way in the grueling 95-kilometer run that snaked through the towns of Bacolor, Mexico, Sta. Ana and Arayat. The cycling started past 5 a.m. at the San Fernando City Hall.

The bikers from more than 40 clubs blazed through the 65-kilometer route covering the 3rd District towns of Mexico, Sta. Ana -- stopping to plant trees at Mt.
