STIRRING our minds and encouraging our hearts, truly, education soars high as a noble mission through the winds of history.

Flying across its historical time line, we observed that it started in the Egyptian temples of learning (3,000 to 500 BC); thence, crossing over to the Chinese gates of teacher/ philosopher Confucius (5th BC); henceforth, awakening our gracious hearts, minds and spirits until the present 21stcentury.

Internet research defines education as a tool of learning in which the knowledge, skills, and habits of a group of people are transferred from one generation to the next through teaching, training, or research. Affirming its formative effect on the way one thinks, feels, or acts. Moreover, it is divided into stages such as preschool, primary school, secondary school and then college, university or apprenticeship.

A right to education has been recognized by most governments. At the global level, Article 13 of the United Nations' 1966 International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, recognizes the right of everyone to an education.

Pillar of Inspiration

Zooming in our Kapampangan heartland, we see that the City of Mabalacat is pro-action and pro-accomplishment in their mission to inspire the youth.

Mabalacat City College aims to unfold the enthusiastic minds and hearts of their students. Thereto, they aim to jump start their careers in their chosen fields.

Mayor Marino “Boking” Pineda Morales, a par excellence and dynamic city steward, shares this view:

“We open the gateway to learning. Passing on information, pursuing wisdom and providing hands-on training create self-confidence and mastery in our students.

We ensure that they are ready to join the ranks of the Kapampangan and Clark work environs.

Mabalacat City College is our timeless and precious legacy to our youth.”

Yes! Kudos to Mayor Morales and to his persevering educational team of the Mabalacat City College. Awakening their esprit de corps (team spirit), they stir the young generation to become the guiding light of tomorrow.

You and I are one in our yearning to enhearten and encourage our youth to become the noble future leaders in their city.

Lighting up the fires of wisdom, we walk with them as they journey through the sacred halls of learning. Our words and deeds will greatly enhance their lives as they proudly march on towards the victorious day of graduation.

Heads held high, confidence oozing in their veins and self-esteem blooming in their minds, ultimately, they will surely reach the mountain top of summum bonum (highest good).

Yes to education… Yes to empowerment…Yes to an ennobling golden tomorrow!
