Sto Tomas' most wanted nabbed-A A +A

STO. TOMAS -- Police operatives here, led by Police Chief Insp. John Clark, arrested a certain Maria Regala who is listed as the 14th most wanted person in the police list here.
Clark said that the suspect was arrested by virtue of the standing warrant of arrest for two counts of qualified theft issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 48 Judge Edgar Chua under criminal case number 17727 and 17728. The court has set a recommended bail of P55, 000 and P32, 000.
Clark said that the suspect is now being processed in preparation of the court hearings. He added that the local police are continuously doing efforts to arrest other wanted personalities who are facing various charges before the local courts.
Recently, the Sto. Tomas police recently arrested one Ester Cruz of Barangay Colgante, Apalit at Sto. Tomas for alleged possession of illegal drugs.
Clark has been repeatedly commended for his successful anti-drug and anti-criminality campaigns.
During his stint as Macabebe police chief, Clark, together with his personnel, were commended by then PPPO officer-in-charge Senior Superintendent Oscar Albayalde for the successful arrest of the town’s second most wanted suspect.
Clark said that the recent recognition for him and his men only inspires them to do more in keeping peace and order in Sto. Tomas town.
