CLARK FREEPORT -- A Belgium-based company and its partner in the country launched here on Saturday an innovative on-line job search designed to allow employers get in-depth and “more personal” information about the applicants.

Frank Aernout, CEO of BeWorkHappy, and his Angeles City, Pampanga-based partner Annielyn Lernout, CEO of BeWorkHappy Philippines Inc., led the launching of the state-of-the-art job recruitment at the Widus Hotel.

“It’s a more personal approach in job matching. It makes it easier and effective for both the employer and applicant to know if they fit for the work needed,” said Aernout. He added that it was the first launch in Asia after it was successfully started in Belgium in March 2013.

The BeHappyWork job search website was also launched a few weeks ago in Morocco.

“While other job platforms simply classify candidates on the basis of few keywords, BeWorkHappy works much harder to really understand your CV (curriculum vitae) for a job vacancy. It recognizes talent and it knows who the candidate and the recruiter really are,” they said in a statement.

Over 650 companies and 25,000 jobs in 35 countries are now available in the BeWorkHappy Philippines site.

Aernout said that job hunters will not pay a single centavo to avail of their services. He added that companies pay P25 pesos for each CV they want to look into.

Aernout urged Filipinos to log in on their website and “start discovering their dream jobs.” (Joey Pavia/Contributor)
