CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga -- Motorcycle-riding suspects robbed the Generics Pharmacy located along Rizal Extension, Barangay Cut-Cut, Angeles City, Wednesday.
Senior Superintendent Eden Ugale, Angeles police director, said more than P23,000 in cash collections for the day and two cellular phones were taken by the suspects armed with caliber .45 pistols.
Ugale said the suspects arrived at the said pharmacy around 12:10 p.m. on board a black motorcycle.
He said the back rider wearing a black jacket and black pants alighted and entered the said store.
The suspect then asked for paracetamol while his cohort remained on board the motorcycle, Ugale said.
The suspect poked his pistol and declared the heist while the assistant pharmacist, a certain Joan Villanueva, 25, of Sta. Cruz, Porac, was getting the medicine.
The suspect then ordered Villanueva and another pharmacist, Janice Dioquino, 33, to open the counter cash box.
Ugale said the suspect then forcibly locked the two pharmacist at the store's comfort room before they fled, taking with them P23,730 cash and the victims' cellular phones.
The store has no closed-circuit television camera installed, he said.
