CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga -- A 56-year-old man was hit by a red color sedan car, which sped off along Barangay Anunas, Angeles City, recently.

Senior Superintendent Eden Ugale, Angeles City police director, had asked concerned citizens who saw the red color sedan and if they could recognize or remember its license plate.

Ugale said the victim, Rico Desierto, 56, a resident of Barangay Malabanias, Angeles City, was allegedly crossing the said road in front of Maharajah Hotel in Barangay Anunas when the car hit him.

The driver of the car did not stop and left the victim, he said.

The victim was taken to the Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center for treatment but was declared dead on arrival by attending physicians, Ugale said.

Police are now gathering witnesses who took note of the plate number of the red sedan car.
