Man wounded in heist

CAMP OLIVAS - A 43-year-old man was seriously wounded when two armed men, believed to be robbers riding a motorcycle, shot him along the Pandan Road, Angeles City on Saturday.

The victim, identified as Victor Ramos, a resident of Barangay Balibago, Angeles City, was driving his motorized tricycle with wife Lorna when the suspects appeared and tried to grab his necklace worth P30,000.

The gunmen chased the couple and upon reaching Barangay Pandan, one of the suspect shot Ramos four times.


The necklace of the victim was taken by the suspects and fled towards an unknown direction.

The victim was taken to Angeles University Foundation Medical Center for treatment.

Senior Superintendent Eden Ugale, Angeles City police director, immediately ordered his men to track down the suspects but to no avail.
