Philhealth to launch ‘Alaga Ka’ program today

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (Philhealth) is set to launch the "Alaga Ka" program Saturday to intensify the implementation of health insurance services to its cardholders.

The launching of the Alaga Ka program dubbed as “Benepisyong Philhealth, Alamin at Gamitin,” will be held at Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center, this city.

With the assistance of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Philhealth will target the registration of indigent families who are non-members.


The DSWD and Department of Health regional offices are tasked to promote their social and health programs and services that will cater the poorest of the poor who will be the direct beneficiaries of the said program.
