CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The Department of Labor and Employment (Dole) Central Luzon Office and the Region 3 Public Employment Services Office Managers Federation Inc. recognized the City Government here for its "ceaseless dedication and sustained remarkable contributions to Dole's goal toward effective implementation of employment facilitation services."

The award was given during the RPMFI General Assembly held at Malolos Resort Club Royale in the City of Malolos, Bulacan recently.

On Monday, Dole Labor Officer Fidel Mendoza officially turned over to Mayor Edwin Santiago and Peso Manager Donny Sayre the plaque of recognition, along with a message from Dole-3 Director Raymundo Agravante.

"Director Agravante wishes to extend his warmest congratulations to the City Government of San Fernando for its support to Dole, as well as its commitment to implement employment programs as a true Hall of Famer in this aspect," Mendoza said.

For his part, Santiago told Sun.Star Pampanga that the recognition “is a manifestation of the City Government’s stronger efforts to provide employment and decent livelihood to all Fernandinos and Kapampangans from neighboring towns and cities.”

“We sincerely appreciate the DoLE-3’s recognition. It is a manifestation that the city is on the right track in our jobs generation and employment programs. We would certainly make it stronger as livelihood and employment remains our top agenda,” Santiago said.
