PamCham president Jess Nicdao, during the group’s general membership meeting, said that the chamber is in continuing talks with development partners and government agencies focusing on aspects of investments, economy, heritage and environment.

THE lack of technical-vocational laboratories in the country's 7,916 public high schools will torpedo the key objective of the K to 12 program, which is to produce employable graduates, Senator Ralph Recto said Monday.

"This is one undiscussed weakness of K to 12. The lack of vocational labs has not caught our attention. Although it is too big to ignore, it has remained under the radar," said Recto.

A LAWMAKER has proposed to establish a Global Identification System for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) that will identify OFWs as legitimate workers to protect them from unnecessary abuse and exploitation during their employment outside of the county.
