CEBUANA actress Kim Chiu said she is ready to work opposite Maja Salvador and ex-boyfriend Gerald Anderson but unsure how fans will react to it.

Utang namin sa mga fans namin kung nasaan kami ngayon and it will depend on them kung paano nila tatanggapin. In time," she said in a Cinema News interview over the weekend.

Might as well i-smoothen muna natin lahat."

Kim said she and Maja are civil toward each other.

"Closeness? Wala ng closeness. Civil na lang, chika-chika. Pero hindi na talaga best of friends," she said.

Meanwhile, the Kapamilya actress clarified there's no brewing tension between her and "Ikaw Lamang" co-star KC Concepcion.

Kim said they are friends even before the primetime series with Coco Martin started and she knows that the fans and supporters are just rooting for either her or the mega daughter.

The actress added that she's honored and blessed to be working with seasoned actors in the industry, such as Rio Locsin, Amy Austria, Joel Torre and Christopher de Leon.

Kim said it's a new learning process for her.

Ang dami ng knowledge sa acting ang nakuha ko sa kanila and dahil doon sobrang mas na-challenge ako to better my craft," she said.

"Ikaw Lamang" airs weeknights on ABS-CBN. (Sunnex)
