ACTRESS Kris Bernal is hopeful that then-leading man Aljur Abrenica and GMA-7 will come up with solution on the former's request to rescind his exclusive network contract with the station.
In an interview at the "Hiram Na Alaala" pocket press conference on Thursday evening, Bernal said that she was surprised when she learned of Aljur's decision to leave the network.
Bernal said there were times when she would hear Abrenica's concerns over his career, but she never thought that it will end up with him filing an appeal to the court.
The actress further said, "Meron din naman (siyang nababanggit). Kasi lahat naman nagkakamali and wala namang perfect.
Bernal said they have not seen each other since Abrenica filed a Judicial Confirmation of Rescission of Contract against GMA-7 at the Quezon City Hall of Justice last month.
She said she is also hesitant in calling the actor as she knows Abrenica is going through tough time now.
E hindi pa naman niya ako kinakausap," he said.
Bernal said that she is just praying that Abrenica and the Kapuso Network will come up with a better and fair solution for all parties.
Tapos nakakaiyak pag babalikan mo lahat ng shows namin. Kaya masakit din sa akin," she ended.
Bernal and Abrenica are products of reality talent show "StarStruck: The Next Level". The former was hailed "Ultimate Female Loveteam" while the latter was tagged the "Ultimate Hunk".
They worked together in several television shows, including "The Last Prince," "All My Life," "Machete," and "Coffee Prince". (Sunnex)
