BRAZILIAN model Daniel Matsunaga shed tears after winning the latest edition of ABS-CBN's Pinoy Big Brother: All-In.

Held Sunday evening at Resorts World Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City, the 25-year-old "Hunk of the World ng Makati" received the highest percentage of vote (11.69 percent) to take home the title.

Daniel was welcomed in the outside world by his housemates, sister Vanessa and mother Geralda, who flew in from Brazil just to show support to her son.

He also received P1 million cash, a condominium unit, business franchise and an Asian tour package.

Matsunaga had proven himself as the most deserving housemate among the three other chosen housemates to be part of the big four -- Jane Oineza, Vickie Rushton, and Maris Racal.

The public had chosen the Japanese-Brazilian but Filipino-at-heart hunk from the 19 housemates who lived in Kuya's house for 119 days.

Rushton, the "Lady Mahinhin ng Bacolod," was announced as the fourth big placer, garnering a total percentage of -0.78 in the net votes.

The "Rising Celebriteen ng Pasig" Oineza was then declared as the third big placer with -0.73 percent of total net votes.

The most awaited and intense portion of the grand night was when Racal and Matsunaga were the only housemates left in a secluded room.

However, the wait was over when the "Singing Sunshine ng Davao" Racal was called as the second big placer of PBB, acquiring a 3.1 net of votes to save and evict percentage.

Matsunaga had then become emotional after realizing that he was the big winner of the first ever Pinoy Big Brother: All In from which celebrities, teens, and regular housemates were combined together in one edition.

For the first time, he was seen crying in the national television.

Matsunaga obtained 11.69 percent of votes from the public.

"The people think na hindi ako Pilipino pero I'm so much more proud to be a half Filipino by heart," Matsunaga said, telling the public that he is a true Filipino and loves all the people in the country.

Matsunaga also shared that it is God’s will for him to reside in the Philippines.

"This is an amazing experience," he said.

Meanwhile, netizens were very pleased on the result of the text votes poll, believing that Matsunaga was the housemate who should take home the crown. Many expressed their gratitude over his thriving success.

A post lauded Matsunaga through a quotation: "A creative man is motivate by the desire to achieve, not by the desire to beat others."

After all the unfair evictions, justice was claimed in the reality show when Matsunaga won, a netizen said.

"After Kim, Melai, and Slater, PBB has finally redeemed itself by having a truly deserving big winner! Congrats Daniel Matsunaga!" a twitter user said.

Matsunaga only proved that there is still a man who possessed traits such as God- fearing, responsible, and respectful, a post said.
