"PAROKYA Ni Edgar" front man Chito Miranda revealed he and girlfriend Neri Naig are planning their upcoming wedding for more than a year now.

Last May, the singer uploaded a six-minute video documenting how he arranged the whole wedding proposal to Naig: from the fake music video shoot, him buying flowers, to finally going down on one knee.

In a recent interview with the band's lead singer, Miranda shared that he actually watched a lot of engagement videos before planning their own.

"I was viewing yung iba't ibang proposal and at least I want to try to top yung mga ganun. I came up with that plan and I'm thankful na appreciate ng mga tao and my fiancé."

He added also disclosed that even before he asked Naig's hand in marriage, they were already planning the nuptial for quite some time.

"Bago pa ako mag propose, I already have plans pero I'd rather not talk about it. Whenever I see celebrities talking about their love life, I find it corny e. I don't want to be part of that," he said.

But when asked on the actual date, he was hesitant to reveal it.

"The wedding? Hopefully within this lifetime," he said.

Miranda also explained that he released the video on his personal YouTube channel because he wanted to share the happy new to their fans.

One reporter commented that Naig, based from her posts on social media, seems to be very domesticated and ready for family life.

When asked for his two cents about this observation, Chito replied: "She is (wife material). I wouldn't marry her if she wasn't. Sobrang jackpot talaga ako and I feel truly blessed to have someone like her." (Sunnex)
