LEA Salonga apologized to “She’s Dating the Gangster” lead actor Daniel Padilla and his supporters over comments she made during Saturday's episode of "The Voice Kids."

In the said episode, the "Voice Kids" judge lauded Cebuano finalist Juan Karlos Labajo for his rendition of Bruno Mars' "Runaway Baby."

She said: "I’m actually looking at you as a 13-year-old and seeing what you’re going to be like five years from now. Yung mga DJ na yan, wala. Sorry, their names are going to be erased once you get to that age."

"Because you are incredible, kasi ang charm mo talagang nagamit dito sa number na ito. Yung looks mo, yung charm mo, talagang gamit na gamit na gamit. Your coach picked the right song for you."

Her comments did not sit well with some netizens, prompting her to apologize, saying she never meant to disrespect anyone.

"The Voice Kids" will announce its winner on Sunday on ABS-CBN. (Sunnex)
