ACTRESS KC Concepcion recently dispelled constant rumors suggesting that she was pregnant and had an abortion in New York.

"Nasasaktan din ako kapag mommy ko na or kapatid ko na ang nagtatanong. Doon ako nahihirapan sa totoo lang. Paulit-ulit na lang na tinatanong sa aking at paulit-ulit naman ako nag deny kasi yun naman ang totoo," the 29-year-old actress said as she admitted that she got hurt by these issues.

She pleaded to everyone to stop circulating these rumors, as these were not true.

"Sobrang walang katotohanan. Never ever akong nabuntis sa buong buhay ko at never akong nagpa-abort. Please, nagmamakaawa na ako sa inyo, wag na ninyong ulitin ang rumor na 'yan kasi walang katotohanan," she said.

Meanwhile, Concepcion was hailed Best Actress at the recently concluded 62nd FAMAS (Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences) Awards for the Metro Manila Film Festival official entry "Boy Golden: Shoot To Kill".

The film bagged six trophies, including Concepcion and ER Ejercito's Best Actor award.

The actress dedicated her latest win to her maternal grandmother, Elaine Cuneta, whom she fondly calls "Mita".

"In my acceptance speech, I dedicated my FAMAS Award to my grandma. She told me, 'Don't forget me when you perform.' She's always been my #1 supporter! Again, I dedicate this to you, Mita," she wrote on Instagram.

According to Concepcion, her Mita is the reason why she decided to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

"She always enjoys watching me on stage and on the screen. She gets impatient when she doesn't see us performing. Glad I won it if only to make her proud. I love you so much Mita!!! Your support and love mean the world to me," the actress added.

Aside from her grandmother, the actress also thanked her fans for the continuous love and support.

"Humbled. Thankful. Inspired. This is for all my supporters who inspire me, all my colleagues who motivate me, all my loved ones who fill me with courage, confidence and joy," she wrote.

Concepcion will return on television via "Ikaw lamang: The New Book." (Sunnex)
