QUEEN of All Media Kris Aquino on Sunday admitted that she loved actor and Quezon City mayor Herbert Bautista as she opened up about their failed romance on celebrity talk show "The Buzz 15".

According to Aquino, when the relationship ended last April, she was still hoping that someday their paths will cross again and that would then be their perfect time to be with each other.

Interviewed by late night news program "Bandila" on June 6, Bautista said he loves Aquino but he said "no" to questions on whether he plans to court the actress again and he wants to get back with her.

Aquino said she was hurt by the mayor's answers, as "I truly loved him."

"It wakes you up to reality na wala pala talagang somewhere down the road para sa inyo. Yung future na inakala mo, yung pinagdarasal mo, that future that kept you going, that dream just disappears," she said.

Aquino said she believed that Bautista came to her life to make her happy and taught her the value of true humility.

The television host said she is not mad at the Quezon City mayor and has no regrets that she had a brief relationship with him.

"Sa iyo ko natutunan yung kinailangan ko talagang matutunan. All my life I was selfish, but in you, I proved to myself capable pala ako magmahal unconditionally," she said.

"Dumating siya sa buhay ko kasi kailangan kong maturuan ng true humility. Kinailangan ko matuto that love endures, love forgives, that love can be selfless, it doesn't blame no matter how much you are hurting, love has no regrets," she added.

In the end, Aquino wished Bautista all the happiness he could get and hopes that they could still save their friendship.

"From my heart, I really wish na kung anong magpapaligaya sa buhay mo, kung anong kukumpleto sa iyo bilang tao, sana lahat ng yun mapunta talaga sa iyo. Sana makamit mo yun," she said.

"Kahit hindi maganda ang ending natin, someday, sana maging magkaibigan parin tayo," she ended. (Sunnex)
