A FORMER housemate of reality television show Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) was held Tuesday night at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 on suspicion of possessing marijuana.

British-Filipino Divine Smith was invited for questioning after authorities allegedly found marijuana in her baggage that was left in a cab.

The taxi driver surrendered the baggage to the lost and found section of the airport, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) spokesperson Derreck Careon said in a telephone interview.

Carreon said the airport's personnel subjected the baggage for inspection and found that there was marijuana inside.

The taxi driver later on identified Smith as his passenger.

However, PDEA agents at NAIA Terminal 3 had no sufficient evidence to prove that Smith owns the bag.

"There was no arrest, she was just invited for questioning. It is possible na someone planted the marijuana in her (Smith) baggage," Carreon said. (Sunnex)
