KAPUSO actress Carla Abellana confirmed that she's no longer in a relationship with Geoff Eigenmann.

"We can't keep denying or we can't keep hiding. We're no longer together," she said in a sitdown interview on "Startalk" on Sunday.

Carla said differences caused their four-year relationship to fall apart.

"I wish it was just one reason pero hindi e. Geoff and I, we're two different people and we're too different," she shared.

"We don't share the same values, mas madalas na hindi kami nagkakasundo kesa nagkakasundo. Mahirap. For me it was the small things talaga. As compared to the grand gestures, it was the small things, small details that contributed to just one big thing. Mas nag-clash kami kesa nagkasundo. Hindi talaga kaya," the actress said.

Carla believes they both gave their all in the relationship and there's nobody to blame for the breakup, not even a third party.

"I want to make it clear na wala talaga. Kung meron kayong nababasa or nababalitaan na merong nai-involved, wala. Napakalayo nun sa mga reasons. Walang kinalaman ito sa kahit sinong nakatrabaho namin, nakakatrabaho ngayon or makakatrabaho namin in the future. It has absolutely nothing to do with anybody else. It's just Geoff and I talaga," she said.

Carla then turned emotional when she talked about her ex-boyfriend's mother, seasoned actress and director Gina Alajar.

"That's the hardest part, (the) family. You don't just break-up with Geoff, but you also break-up with the family. With Tita Gina, hindi ko na kinailangan mag explain, hindi na siya nangulit or anything. Naintindihan naman din niya agad. She knew where I was coming from, she knew why. Hindi man niya alam yung specifics, she understood me," Carla said.

She added that the entire Eigenmann family made her feel that she was not an outsider.

Carla hopes that even though she's no longer with Geoff, her good relationship with his family will remain.

"Pakiramdam ko part ako of the Eigenmann family. It was extremely difficult not just to make a decision, but to break it to them na rin. Sobrang grateful ako sa mga Eigenmanns kasi ang babait nilang lahat. Everyone's been so nice to me. Sobrang grateful ako that I got to share 3-4 years of my life with them and I got to know them even better," she said.

In the end, Carla said: "I'm struggling but honestly my heart is full of love." (Sunnex)
