SINGER Sam Concepcion confirmed the alleged confrontation between him and "It's Showtime" host Anne Curtis.

In an interview by Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), the "Mirabella" actor shared he did not expect it to happen but said he understands the older sister of his rumored girlfriend, Jasmine Curtis Smith.

"There was a confrontation that happened but, you know, buti diyan kasi, I really understand. I understand where she's coming from and nagkakaintindihan rin kaming dalawa ni Anne," he said.

Concepcion added that he already spoke to Curtis and they have already ironed out their differences.

"I can really say na Anne and I are okay. We've talked and everything is well between us," he said.

Curtis earlier denied the reported confrontation at the birthday party of comedian Vice Ganda held in Makati City last March 31.

Curtis allegedly asked Concepcion who invited him at the party and that the actor is not classy enough to be at Vice Ganda's party.

Her statement reads: "Of course I spoke to Sam that night and as always, I told him to take care of my baby sister. Like any ate would do BUT to clarify I DID NOT say any of those words written in the article. Kahit tanungin nyo pa si Sam. Even he doesn't know where those words came from. Basta. Ang mahalaga Sam and I are ok. End of story, no issue here."

Concepcion also clarified that things are "very much okay... as always" between him and Jasmine.

The singer/actor added that he knows Curtis did it just to protect her younger sister.

"Ang ate naman talaga or kuya (na mas) nakakatanda sa isang kapati, we'll do that for a sibling. I have a sister, may nakakabata rin akong kapatid. Siyempre manliligaw ka, ikaw yung guy and yung nakababata mong kapatid, siyempre you will protect her."

When asked if there's a reason for Curtis to do what she allegedly did, Sam said the "Dyesebel" lead star "has nothing to worry about." (Sunnex)
