Anne Curtis stung by jellyfish during ‘Dyesebel’ taping

KAPAMILYA actress Anne Curtis was brought to the hospital after she was stung by a box jellyfish while taping her evening series "Dyesebel."

The primetime program was shooting in Batangas on Wednesday when the incident happened.

In a text message to Sun.Star, Eric John Salut, AdProm head at ABS-CBN, said Curtis was initially rushed to hospitals in San Juan and Lipa, Batangas before she was transferred to St. Luke's Medical Center in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City.


"Super rashes all over her body and writhing in extreme pain. She was even worried yesterday as staff rushed her to the hospitals na baka ma-delay ang taping," he said.

Salut added they are yet to receive words from the doctors on the length of her recovery but the actress is doing well.

"Anne Curtis is safe in the hospital under utmost medical care and supervision," he said.

The actress also tweeted about the accident.

Anne said she was lucky it wasn't fatal and told supporters to be extra careful during this summer. (Sunnex)
