Spiderman is the official celebrity endorser of the Earth Hour 60+ campaign this year.

The switch-off at Eastwood City has been dubbed as the biggest single Earth Hour switch-off in Metro Manila, with 19 high-rise residential towers, three Megaworld Lifestyle malls, 10 office towers, and the Eastwood Richmonde Hotel participating in the annual event.

Earth Hour is an annual campaign of the World Wide Fund for Nature to increase awareness about the state of the planet and how simple acts like switching off lights can mitigate the problem.

The Amazing Spiderman 2 opens in the Philippines on April 30. (PR)
