KAPUSO Primetime King and Queen, Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera are heading up north this weekend to join in the annual celebration of the Panagbenga Festival in Baguio City.

GMA Regional TV is cooking up series of events at the City of Pines for the annual flower festival.

The celebration will kick-off on Saturday, February 22, at 3 p.m. in SM City Baguio for the Kapuso Mall Show with "Innamorata" lead actress Max Collins and co-stars Luis Alandy, Jackie Rice, Gwen Zamora and Dion Ignacio.

At 5 p.m., Dante's Grand Kapuso Fans Day will be mounted in the same venue. Actor Gabby Eigenmann will serve as host of the program.

Aside from the meet and greet with his fans, the Kapuso Primetime King will also visit Loakan Elementary School to reach out to its indigent students and to distribute school supplies and other educational materials.

Rivera will then cap the evening with “Carmela” leading man Alden Richards for the much-anticipated Kapuso Night.

Comedian Boobay will host the event while singer James Wright will serenade the crowd at SM City Baguio.

On Sunday, Rivera and Richards will aboard the GMA Float to take part in the annual florid Panagbenga Grand Parade. The said event will start at 8 a.m.

"(GMA-7) is participating in this meaningful and vibrant festivity by bringing its brightest stars bannered by the Kapuso Primetime King and Queen Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera. It is through this that GMA hopes to further intensify its presence in the regions," said Oliver Amoroso, head for Integrated Marketing Services Division of GMA Regional TV.

The whole 2014 Panagbenga Festival coverage will be seen in "Let's Fiesta TV Special" which airs on March 9 through the station's respective regional channels in Bicol, Davao, Iloilo, Dagupan, Ilocos, General Santos City, Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro and Cebu. (Sunnex)
