NINE months after her controversial break-up with "It's Showtime" host Billy Crawford, singer-actress Nikki Gil is back in the dating game again.

In a recent "Kris TV" guesting, Gil revealed that she is seeing a non-showbiz guy who is three years her senior.

She hinted that they were introduced by friends.

"Surprisingly, we have a lot of common friends, and everyone assumed that kilala na namin ang isa't isa, pero hindi talaga. Ateneo days pa lang," she said.

The 26-year-old actress shared that before going out with the aforesaid guy, she gave herself a chance to mingle and get to know other people.

But she said going on constant dates is not her cup of tea.

"Hindi ako yung type na susubok ng susubok. Binigyan ko din yung self ko ng chance to meet. But hindi ko kaya because I don't know how to play the game. I tried. I went out. Nag date ako. I know what I want," Gil said.

Gil said she is looking for someone who can carry an intelligent conversation, who is kind, has deep relationship with God, and a guy who has no history of breaking a woman's heart.

With the guy she's dating now, Nikki said "it felt right". She is also impressed by his will to get close to her.

"I think that in itself, parang nafi-filter na yung mga ide-date mo. Parang for them to even come up to you, knowing where I came from, they must mean business."

Gil also said that she has no anger left of her ex-lover. She said she has moved on and ready to face life head on.

"I know that it's not like that all the time. Ito nagkataon lang pero love is not supposed to be like this. Hindi dapat siya masakit. Hindi ka dapat umiiyak," she said. (Sunnex)
