Jodi: Aiza not leaving 'Be Careful With My Heart'-A A +A
Tuesday, February 26, 2013
JODI Sta. Maria assured everyone that her onscreen sister Aiza Seguerra will not leave the hit morning program "Be Careful With My Heart."
"Hindi po aalis si Aiza sa aming show at siya pa rin si Kute,” the actress said during the thanksgiving press conference on Monday night.
Rumors have it that Aiza is not happy because the show now rivals "Eat Bulaga," the noontime variety program of GMA 7, which launched her showbiz career and whose hosts and management are close to her.
Both Aiza and ABS-CBN have since refuted the rumors, but Jodi said she understands where the issue is coming from because "Eat Bulaga" was Aiza’s home for years.
"Even before naman na lumabas yung resignation issue na yan ni Aiza, never naman talaga niyang pinlano na umalis ng show. Siyempre dahil mahal din naman niya ang ‘Be Careful With My Heart.’ Pero may respeto din siya dun sa katapat na show dahil yun naman ang naging tahanan niya for the longest time at doon din siya lumaki,” she said.
Jodi left to management the possibility of moving the program to an earlier timeslot so as not to compete with “Eat Bulaga.”
"Be Careful With My Heart" was actually aired around 10:30 a.m. on weekdays when it started in July last year before it was transferred to the current 11:45 a.m. slot.
Meanwhile, Jodi is slowly sharing pieces of her personal life to the public.
She recently posted a photo with rumored flame, actor Jolo Revilla. The actress, however, said it was just one picture and they were with close friends.
"Yun lang yun. Kaisa-isang photo lang yun. Wala namang masama sa dinner. It was actually a photo of him and me and marami kaming kasama. Na-crop lang sila,” she said.
Jodi only described the present status of her love life as “okay” and “steady.” (Sunnex)
