ACTOR Sam Milby said he is thankful that his upcoming drama series with Judy Ann Santos is finally pushing through. The two actors will star in upcoming series "Against All Odds" alongside KC Concepcion and Jericho Rosales.

Sam said they already taped scenes for the said series but the airing was moved to a later date because of their busy schedules.

Sam is currently doing "Kahit Konting Pagtingin" with Angeline Quinto while Juday is hosting "Pinoy MasterChef".

When sought for his reaction on earlier reports, saying Juday's long-time manager Alfie Lorenzo doesn't approve of him to be his talent's leading man, Sam replied: "Nalungkot naman kasi na hindi siya supportive sa project but I'm happy na pumayag parin siya. That's the most important (thing), na natuloy parin."

Sam revealed he never talked about it with Juday and he'd just let the issue slide. "I thanked her for fighting for the project and allowing me to be her leading man," he added.

When asked if he feels pressured by the thought of starring opposite Juday and sharing the small screen with Kc and Jericho, Sam said that he's more excited and he takes everything as another career challenge.

"Laging may pressure and hindi naman maiiwasan yun. Mas exciting. Thankful lang talaga ako," she said.

Meanwhile, Sam dismissed reports linking him to "Kahit Konting Pagtingin" leading lady Angeline Quinto. He said they are good friends since the singer won Star Power and they worked together in "ASAP."

"Magkaibigan na kami ng matagal kaya mas kumportable na kaming mag trabaho at sa isa't isa. We have a lot of common friends and we hang out with them. Pero never kaming nagkaroon ng special feelings," he said.

"Gusto ko sa kanya na totoo siyang tao. Kung ano yung nakikita ninyo, ganun talaga siya. She's fun to be with and she doesn't hide anything," Sam said when asked about Angeline's qualities that he really likes most. (Sunnex)
