ILOILO CITY – The Market Committee is finishing the draft of a new Term of Reference (TOR) governing the revitalization and redevelopment of the Iloilo City Central Market by incorporating the ideas of the City Council and the central market vendors.

City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog is amenable to the inputs to be submitted by the market vendors as long as it is legal and for the good not only for the vendors but for consumers as well.

Mabilog said the draft will be submitted to the City Council for approval and confirmation.

The project is eyed to start by the end of the year for a period of two years.

Mabilog said that as of now, the committee was tasked to submit progress and status report every last week of the month on the market project.
