ILOILO City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog has instructed the Iloilo City Police Office file charges against the suspect in the killing of a mother in Sta. Rita, Oton.

Mabilog said that Oton Mayor Vincent Flores has sought his help in solving the case of Frances Lei Reyes, 22, who was killed by a lone gunman at the parking area of Robinson Place Iloilo along Quezon St.

The suspect was identified as Junjun Robles, a job-order employee of the City Hall who reportedly disappeared after killing Reyes.

Mabilog also ordered the ICPO to identify and arrest the suspect behind the lobbing of a grenade that damaged the vehicle of Infante, Molo Barangay Captain Ben Bonete.

The police said that the riding-in-tandem suspects proceeded to Barangay West Timawa.

Mabilog said he condemned the violent attempts on the life of another person and the ICPO must work double time to solve the cases that gave a bad name to the peace and order situation of the city.
