Mass wedding for 200 couples set today

THE City Government of Iloilo and the Home Mutual Development Fund (Pag-ibig) will hold a mass wedding rite for 200 couples today, Valentine?s Day, at the Grand Hotel.

Iloilo City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog said a raffle will award a free house and lot for the lucky couple of the day.

Mabilog said that Pag-ibig will award the house and lot in four areas in the Philippines conducting a simultaneous wedding ceremony on Valentine’s Day.


The selection of 200 couples from the city was completed in collaboration with the city civil registrar’s office and Red Ladies Org.

Each of the 200 couples will have a wedding ring for both bride and groom, free registration of marriage, and free wedding reception for the couple and their main sponsors courtesy of the City Government.
