THE Iloilo City Government is gearing up for the “Trick or Treat” celebration for children of City Hall employees on October 31, in time for the annual All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day celebration.

Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog said the city is celebrating the occasion for children from two to eight years old to visit the seven-storey City Hall and receive goodies from officials and employees.

Department heads and employees have been encouraged to wear costume for the celebration and join the fun, as 200 children parade around the building while awards will be given to the person with best costume.

Mabilog said the celebration is now on its second year, and he hopes to institutionalize it every year in giving fun to the children of City Hall employees. (LCP)
